Crafting

So one of my personal goals for the new year was to focus on me again. Last year was spent with struggling with my sickness and trying to be the perfect wife that I kind of lost myself along the way. My goal has been to get back into my hobbies I used to love so much. One of my hobbies is crafting. Cliche Mormon girl hobby, I know I know. But I love nothing more than to get my creative juices flowing. Having our own house is super exciting and I love decorating it. Here's what's new!

I decided to purchase this canvas "G". I picked out cute paper that matched my house and took some mod-podge to it. I love how it turned out! I am obsessed with all things "G" because I still love saying my new last name. Makes me giddy.

This banner was NOT easy but I am loving how it turned out! I am a major doodler. If you saw any of my high school notebooks you would be amazed how much I doodled rather than took notes or did hw. But it comes in handy so much more than algebra ever does. 

I purchased these canisters awhile ago. They are 2 gallons, I know, huge. But I love to bake and our old canisters had to be refilled after one use. So annoying. So I decided to make labels this week for them!

I've been eying this pillow for months at Hobby Lobby but couldn't get myself to pay $40 for it. It finally went on sale and I snatched it. I'm a sucker for pillows. 

I want to be more diligent with my blog and use it like a journal. I'm pretty much an open book and my mind is always going going going on new thoughts to write down. Still have to post photos of our house, I'm so behind!
